Maintaining and improving fine dining excellence is all in a day's work for the team at Banyan Tree.
As guests unwind and relax on the resort's private beach in Bintan Island, just an hour's ferry ride from Singapore; or tee off on an undulating championship golf course and are pampered at the acclaimed luxury Spa, the Culinary Team are working their magic in the kitchen.
This year, Banyan Tree Bintan will be curating a number of events which will embrace a truly global approach to food and wine. From Saturday 16 March to Friday 22 March, talented Chef Ettajani El Youssfi and Amine Harir from Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay, Morocco will be showcasing a Moroccan Food Festival at Laguna Bintan.

Venue: Saffron Restaurant at Banyan Tree Bintan
For those who are keen to get closer to the action, there will also be a cooking class for Seedling students on 22 March 2019. Watch the Chefs in action as they share their culinary experiences with disadvantaged students from local communities. The Seedlings Programme is a vocational training programme launched under Banyan Tree group to provide training and job opportunities for disadvantaged local youth (13-24 years) and to give them the necessary skills to forge a successful career in the hospitality industry. During this cosy and intimate session, participants will get to recreate classic Moroccan dishes, including some of those featured over the course of the week.
In April, Banyan Tree Bintan will be focussing on all things 'Italiano' and are jointly hosting an Italian Wine Festival with Marco Fantinel, Italian vineyard owner. A special wine dinner at The Cove is planned.
