One of Sydney's leading beachfront conference venues, the newly rebranded Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific just got even better with a multi-million dollar refurbishment that has seen two new ocean-view terraces added, two completely transformed bar areas and a total facelift to all its ocean-view rooms.
To celebrate its relaunch and rebranding, the Novotel is offering a free half-hour cocktail function for any residential event worth more than $5000 booked by 22 December and held by 30 December 2009. The half-hour free event includes standard beer, house wine and canapés.
The beautifully designed first-floor conference terraces are perfect for morning and afternoon teas, conference lunches and sunset cocktails, with overhead cover from the elements and huge open 'windows' framing views over Manly Beach and providing a beachside alfresco ambience. The Ballroom terrace is 144 square metres in size and can cater for 200 guests for cocktails or 132 seated, while the Gilbert Terrace is 92 square metres and can host 100 guests for cocktails or 90 seated. Contemporary new furnishings in the bar and lobby area in bright and funky colours add a hip edge to any event and confirm Manly's new status as the coolest place on the north.
The new renovations will make the Novotel Manly Pacific the hottest event hotel in town, just in time for the busy Christmas party season. The hotel offers 8 flexible function rooms for anything from 10 to 600 people and the completely pillarless Grand Ballroom, with the new addition of its beachfront terrace, provides a spectacular setting for gala dinners for up to 420 or cocktail parties for up to 600.
On the ground floor, a new Lobby Bar and Charlie's Bar have created a completely new sense of arrival and provide new and unusual spaces for conference organisers. Inspired by its beachside location, Charlie's bar
boasts bi-fold doors opening onto Manly Beach, modern interiors and lots of natural sunshine.
Upstairs, the stylish new Sable offers a more sophisticated venue with sumptuous furnishings, several private nooks for intimate gatherings and a wide open terrace with comfortable lounges overlooking the sand and the sea. This tapas-style wine bar boasts an extensive range of the finest wines, champagnes, beers and cocktails in a setting that raises Manly's nightlife to a new level.
