Music Wine + Nosh in the Highlands

Joadja, one of the prettiest vineyards in the Highlands has just announced the first of their 2012 ‘Music in the Vines’ events on Saturday 28 January 2012 with one of Sydney’s top bands entertaining guests.

‘Seamless Sheamus & The Tullamore Dews’ will be playing a mixture of rock and Irish folk music. The Group includes guitarist & songwriter Jim Moginie formerly with Midnight Oil, Peter Mackie former bass player with The Cockroaches, Stephen Coburn mandolin and vocals – formerly with Mental As Anything and Evelyn Finnerty from County Cork – vocals and she’s a ‘dervish on the fiddle’ !

With a 1pm start, free entry & wine tastings guests can mingle in the parklike grounds, have a picnic, listen to the music & enjoy ‘made on site’ woodfired pizzas. There’ll also be food stalls with local products & produce for sale.

Joadja’s latest wine releases – the 2011 Pinot Gris and the 2010 Cabernet Malbec will be launched and guests are invited to try this exceptional wine plus the full range of the Joadja brand – Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and the reds Cabernet Sangiovese, Reserve Malbec and the award winning liqueur Brambolini. This liqueur was used in the Highlands lunch dessert menu at the recent 100 Mile Challenge in Sydney.
