Australia's 'coolest' live music festival to kick off 2012 snow season

The hills will really be alive with the sound of music as the annual Snowy Mountains of Music festival kicks off the 2012 snow season.

This fabulous four day event — from Friday 8 to Monday 11 June 2012 —  will host some of Australia's best live music acts in up to ten indoor venues in Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes and Guthega Alpine Village. 

Offering a mix of world, folk, roots, Celtic, acoustic, traditional music, song, dance, poetry and yarn spinning, headline acts include The Black Seeds from New Zealand, Karma County's front man Brendan Gallagher, Nicky Bomba with Bustamento, and The Quarry Mountain Dead Rats.
