Jean-Michel Poulot joined the Grasmere team during spring last year and has been over-
whelmingly successful in our kitchen. Our discerning guests from all over the world have heaped
praise on to Jean-Michel all season as he delights with a daily changing menu. With his French
and Swiss training along with a decade in NZ Jean-Michel successfully combines NZ's best
available produce with European flair

Skiing Porters has never been easier.
This winter, our local ski field, Porter's celebrates the introduction of its brand new four seater
chairlift. Just 20 minutes from Grasmere, Porters offers excellent beginners and intermediate
terrain. With the arrival of the chairlift we are celebrating by offering free lift passes to all
guests skiing Porters, whilst staying at the Lodge, including families during the school holidays.
