Carol Prior will be escorting a very personal, fabulous journey through the Morocco, that she has been having a love affair with for nearly 50 years! The wonderful design and architecture of the country, together with the engaging Moroccan hospitality, drew her back again and again.
Our 15 day adventure begins on 20th March, 2019 in Rabat, the capital city on the Atlantic coast; Tangier, where it all began on a trip from Gibraltar, full of history of the cross-culture of North Africa and Spain, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean; then we will wander the ancient labyrinth of alleys in Fes; ride a mule in the high Atlas Mountains or a camel in the Agafay desert culminating in the red city of Marrakech to end on the 3rd April.
The tour will include meeting some of the wonderful people Carol has met over the years, as we visit private homes, gardens and favourite restaurants to dine on traditional and modern Moroccan cuisine and enjoy private cooking classes.
