Australia is on Sale...and its Going Cheap
Australian Holiday makers now have access to the best holiday bargains across the country, including free accommodation nights and holiday deals at 2007 prices with the Australia on Sale campaign kicking off this week until December 12.
Spanning across three AOT Holidays brands, Travelpoint Holidays, Sunlover Holidays and NSW Holidays Australia on Sale consists of 157 accommodation and 28 touring deals all of which are valid for travel until 31 March 2010.*
AOT Holidays General Manager of Trade Sales and Marketing Hugh Houston says that the campaign has the largest range of Australian holiday bargains which he’s seen in a long time.
“We’ve been selective in putting together the Australia on Sale deals, only the sharpest have made the cut resulting in 45% off deals and our free night offers mean that in some cases we are offering seven night deals at the same price as five night deals from 2007,” Mr Houston said.**
All accommodation deals in the Australia on Sale campaign include bonus free nights, with ‘stay 7 pay 5’ and ‘stay 5 pay 3’ and ‘stay 3 pay 2’ accommodation deals on offer.
Mr Houston added that the deals in the campaign were selected with the modern holidaymaker’s desires in mind.
“Recent travel trends, gauged from sales across our brands throughout the year, indicate that Australians are looking for discounted short breaks with our free night packages among the top performers in 2009.
“During Australia on Sale travellers will be able to snap up bargains such as three nights in Margaret River from $159 per person twin share, three nights in Melbourne CBD for $115 per person twin share and ‘buy one get one free’ touring offers,” Mr Houston said.
Australia on Sale isrunning in partnership with all of Australia’s major retail chains; Flight Centre, Harvey World Travel, Travelscene American Express, Escape Travel, Travellers Choice and Jetset Travelworld and also Virgin Blue and Avis.
