Festive Program at Ayana and Rimba

This year’s Festive Season is a highly integrated affair at AYANA Resort and Spa Bali and RIMBA Jimbaran Bali, which is entirely appropriate given the integrated resort concept that allows them to offer such a large and inclusive Festive Program.

Covering a period that extends from pre Christmas, through New Year, to an Orthodox Christmas event on 6 January, this year’s program has something for everyone; whether young or old, romantically inclined, culturally curious, an avid foodie, music lover or spa enthusiast.

Young repeat guests will be delighted to see Gede Bear and his wife Ayu (perhaps even a child or two) who will once again be attending the children’s events. These will include a Teddy Bear Tea with delicious treats, storytelling and photos with Santa, as well as a Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring choristers from a local orphanage and providing an opportunity to embrace the spirit of giving by placing gifts under the tree for the children of Mercy Indonesia Orphanage in Denpasar.

Children can share a poolside brunch with Santa and his Mrs at AYANA’s dedicated children’s pool, while the couple will also be found making their way around RIMBA’s pools several times a day on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with small gifts and an open ear for special wishes.

From 13 December to 4 January, gourmet travelers and foodies can experience the joy of cooking with a daily cooking class during which the chefs from AYANA showcase their favorite festive recipes and cooking tips. For a little seasonal self indulgence they can follow this with a sumptuous high tea at either AYANA or RIMBA. ”

At varying times throughout the Festive Season all restaurants are offering special set or buffet style menus that showcase their particular cuisines. At some venues this is further enhanced with live music or traditional dance performances.

Romantic couples are not overlooked, but rather spoiled with an unequalled choice of private venues in which to celebrate a special romantic holiday season.  This might be in one of AYANA traditional bales dotted in secluded areas throughout the resort, in one of RIMBA’s “birdcages”, in a private poolside cabana, on a candlelit lawn or, for the most memorable romantic dining experience, a champagne dinner at the end of AYANA’s private jetty accompanied by a performance of Balinese “Jegog” music.

The Festive program caters for spa junkies too with pre and post holiday offers that allow guests to start the season in the best shape and to detox and recover after the celebrations.

With two of the most exciting venues on the planet -  AYANA’s famous Rock Bar and RIMBA’s UNIQUE Rooftop Bar & Restaurant -  there will be no shortage of good music throughout the holidays, with the new bar at Sami Sami Italian Restaurant also getting in the act.

On 30 December, American DJ Mr. Best who includes such illustrious gigs as The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes and The Emmys in his portfolio, will spin an eclectic mix of House, Rock & Roll, R & B and Hip Hop at the Rock Bar. The party keeps going through to New Year’s Eve and the countdown to 2015, with plenty of music, pyrotechnics and fun for all.
