Gulf Ventures unveils ‘classic’ golf tour


Gulf Ventures (www.gulfventures.com) today unveiled a seven-night golf holiday that gives Australian travellers the chance to tee off at three of the world's greatest 18-hole championship courses.

The games begin at the famous Emirates Golf Club, which since 1989 has hosted the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, an annual event that attracts the likes of Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood.

For the final round guests take on the acclaimed, Greg Norman-designed Jumeirah Golf Estates EARTH course, home of the European Tour season finale, the DP World Championships.
In between the golf, travellers enjoy a range of activities and tours, including:
  • a visit to the Palm Jumeirah (the world's largest man-made island)
  • an Arabic Cooking lesson and a tour Dubai's Gold and Spice Souks
  • an evening cruise
  • a ride to the top of Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building)
  • a desert safari with dune bashing, camel riding and sand boarding. 
The Dubai Golf Experience package (available for travel until 15 December 2014) offers a choice of four luxury resorts: Intercontinental Dubai Festival City, the Park Hyatt Dubai, the One and Only Royal Mirage Arabian Court, and Grand Hyatt Dubai.
Prices cover accommodation, excursions, green fees, all transfers, breakfasts, and dinner on the final evening, and start from AED6,150* pp twin share (around AUID1872 pp twin share) at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.
