The JUCY Difference – Small, manoeuvrable, affordable, cool

JUCY Inc. is a Campervan Rental company established in USA in January 2012 by New Zealand based
JUCY Group with initial launch locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

Breaking from the traditional campervan operators, JUCY offers a new concept in campervans (R.V's) for price-sensitive travelers that focuses not only on delivering a product but also an experience.
Their signature cheery green minivans first appear as standard passenger vehicles with some storage on top and great paint jobs. Once stopped, however, they transform into a cozy campervan that sleeps up to four. Pop the container atop the van and pull down the ladder to enter the Penthouse, a roomy pod-tent. Inside the main cabin, the passenger seats morph into a comfortable bed, or make way for the screw-in table stored beneath them. A refrigerator, gas burner, and sink fill the trunk, while a TV and DVD player folds down from the ceiling for non-stop entertainment.
JUCY History
JUCY is family owned and operated by brothers Tim and Dan Alpe, who take a hands on approach every day.  The green and purple brand is a household name in Australasia. Locations
JUCY USA has initial launch locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.  The company is looking to expand into other key markets, including Florida.
The campervans from inception to production
JUCY builds all the campervan units at its Auckland, New Zealand manufacturing center, JUCY By Design (JBD).  They are then shipped to each market.  For the US and to accommodate the left-handed drive, they are built at JBD and then assembled onto US vehicles in California.
The designs are highly innovative as they work with boat builders to design units that can be assembled onto either a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country or a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan second-hand van chassis.
In the US this has been a major point of difference for customers who traditionally would have had to settle for very large motorhomes that are expensive, costly on fuel, not hugely environmentally friendly and too big to drive into popular tourist hubs such as Santa Barbara and Las Vegas.
Environmentally friendly
Because the vehicles are smaller and have smaller engines than their larger RV cousins, they are by nature more fuel efficient and therefore leave a smaller carbons emission footprint.
