Golf Vacations Second Issue Now on Sale
The second quarterly issue of Australia and New Zealand’s only specialist golf travel magazine, Golf Vacations, is now on sale.
The issue extensively covers Vietnam and Bali as prime Asian golf holiday destinations, as well as Queenstown in New Zealand’s South Island, the Gold Coast, Hunter Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Australia’s newest resort course on Hamilton Island.
For golfers wishing to venture further afield, Golf Vacations visits the host course of this year’s US Open – Pebble Beach in California – as well as Scotland’s newest links, Castle Stuart near Inverness, and a sparkling Nick Faldo-designed layout at Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Bangkok is the issue’s designated business break destination and separate sections are dedicated to food and wine, cruising, motoring, golf and leisure products. Network Ten newsreader Sandra Sully is the magazine’s celebrity golfer and an interview with young Queensland LGPA tour Sarah Jane Smith rounds out the 132-page issue.
Golf Vacations is distributed to newsagents, airline lounges, business centres at leading hotels, golf resorts and stay-and-play properties throughout Australia and New Zealand. It is also included in registration packs for participants in various seasonal tournaments, Australia-wide.
“The launch issue of Golf Vacations in October 2009 was extremely well received, and we are expecting this one to perform even better,” says publisher, Anthony Gallagher, the principal of Sydney-based Global Publishing Pty Ltd, which also publishes the quarterly travel magazine Vacations & Travel.
Golf Vacations Australia/New Zealand edition is the fourth licensed edition of the magazine that has been published in Singapore for more than 20 years. Other licensees are in China, HK/Macau, Malaysia and the Czech Republic.
Golf Vacations has an RRP of $9.95 and an annual subscription of four issues is $34.95.
