Royal Caribbean Cruises Extends and enhances Earlybird Savings Offer

Earlybird pricing extended until 28 February 2010 with increased savings on selected sailings

If you're curious about the company that just launched Oasis of the Seas, the world's biggest cruise ship, there is no better time than now to get a taste of cruising closer to home on her sister ship – Rhapsody of the Seas. Royal Caribbean Cruises has extended and enhanced its Earlybird Savings offers for summer 2010-2011 sailings on the newest and largest superliner based in Australia.

Initially scheduled to end on 30 December, the Earlybird sale has now been extended by two months to 28 February 2010. Guests who book by this date can save up to $700 per person off the published brochure fares (discounts vary by cruise duration and cabin type). With these savings included, fares start from: $1315* for a 7-night Tasmania cruise; $2375* for a 14-night New Zealand cruise; and $2915* for a 17-night Round Australia cruise.

Furthermore, Royal Caribbean has doubled the Earlybird discount on 10 selected cruises to Tropical Queensland and the islands of the Sound Pacific. Passengers can now save up to $1000 per person off the published brochure fares (discounts vary by cruise duration and cabin type). Fares start from $1,145* for a 7-night South Pacific cruise.  This double discount deal is only available for four weeks and expires on 7 February 2010.

Mums and dads will love the reduced kids fares for 2010/11 with child prices starting from as little as $385 per person for a seven night cruise when they share a cabin with two adults – that's just over $50 per day! Now a family of four can enjoy the perfect family vacation from as little as $775* per person on a fun 7-night 'Pacific Island Getaway' cruise.

Royal Caribbean has also reduced the price to upgrade to Balcony cabins and Suites for 2010/11.  For instance, an upgrade from an Outside to Balcony cabin on 7-night 'Pacific Island Getaway' cruise will now only cost $23pp per day ($161 in total).
