Adventure Travel for Kids Cancer Research

A group of people from across Australia will be taking part in a trek through the incredible Nepalese Himalayas, taking in Nepal’s sights, sounds, people and culture. Participants are raising money for The Oncology Children's Foundation's research into cures for childhood cancers. www.ocf.com.au. The trek starts on 2nd September.

The Nepal Trek/Himalayan Adventure is an Oncology Children’s Foundation (OCF) challenge run by Inspired Adventures. This adventure of a lifetime includes trekking the Nepalese Himalayas with an inspiring group of people, taking in Nepal’s sights, sounds, people and culture. Some of the highlights are walking through bamboo forests and pasture at Tikedungha before crossing the Bhurungdi Khola and climbing the step stone staircase to the Magar village of Ulleri. Included also is a project visit in Kathmandu where you have the opportunity to spend the day visiting sick kids , helping them with English lessons and some art and craft activities.

The money raised for OCF will provide essential funding for research into childhood cancers with the lowest survival rates.

There are still spots available on this trek, and on other OCF adventures.
