CHINA specialists Wendy Wu Tours have just released a new 17-day unique fully inclusive group tour to complement their already extensive China product for 2014.
The “Southern Odyssey” itinerary explores the contrasting areas of southern China and Hong Kong, giving travellers an insight to the cultural differences and stunning natural scenery that the south has to offer.
Beginning in Xiamen, you will travel to Gulangyu Island for a day and Yongding, famous for the roundhouses or Tu Lous of the Hakka people. You will continue to the Province of Yunnan and visit the cities of Kunming, Lijiang and Dali which offer a wide variety of minority cultures.
For further picturesque landscapes you will visit Guilin, Longji and Yangshuo including a relaxing cruise along the Li River.
