There is no better way to explore the rich history, beautiful landscapes and breathtaking waterways of Northern Europe than on a SeaDream Yacht Club mega-yacht.
Defined by its intimate atmosphere, award-winning dining and 1:1 crew to guest ratio, SeaDream I will be sailing the secluded ports of Northern Europe for the summer 2014 season. Voyages will include overnights in harbors along the Baltic coast and throughout the Norwegian fjords, and values on these incredible itineraries have never been better.
“Our past guests are enthused to spend part of their summer in Northern Europe as we explore the region with intimate style only available on a mega-yacht,” shares President Bob Lepisto. “We are also seeing many travelers that have cruised this region opting to yacht through the Baltic for a completely new perspective.”
SeaDream will offer guests a perfect chance to experience this region from June through August 2014 on seven to 14-day voyages. Starting the season from Hamburg, Germany on May 31, 2014, SeaDream I will embark on a journey through the Kiel Canal, calling on the metropolises of Helsinki, Stockholm and St. Petersburg, Russia, where multiple-night stays allow guests to explore highlights like the world-famous Hermitage museum, or the renowned Jacobson Ballet School.
In contrast, SeaDream I is able to dock in locations the larger ships cannot reach. This means that the quaint, charming islands of Saaremaa in Estonia and Finland’s Aland archipelago (made up of some 6,000 remote isles) are also destination highlights during the voyages. Additional voyage highlights include:
- An itinerary featuring three overnights in St. Petersburg, Russia. Land adventures during the stay include a special private opening of the Hermitage museum and a visit to the palace at Peterhof, known as the Versailles of Russia. Enthralling tours of the Neva River and its canals allow an incredible vantage point from which to view St. Petersburg’s renowned architecture.
- Overnights in Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord, Norway. Exploring the majestic Norwegian Fjords up close, visiting hidden coves accessible only by small craft or mega-yacht. Outdoor activities including paddling through fjords in kayaks directly launched from the SeaDream I marina. Guests can also use the yacht’s fleet of mountain bikes or hike trails on secluded and sparsely populated islands in the region.
- Exclusive complimentary land excursion in Oslo to Hadeland Glassworks factory, owned by SeaDream Founder Mr. Atle Brynestad.
Fully inclusive yachting fares begin at $3,599 based on double occupancy. SeaDream I will be sailing a series of voyages in Northern Europe starting May 31 through August 2014. Itineraries include Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden.
