Azamara Quest cruise in Canada and the USA

Cruiseco, the leading provider of worldwide cruising options, is offering guests the chance to discover Canada and the USA on a new 32-night charter aboard Azamara Quest.  Commencing its journey on 24 September 2016, the mid-sized cruise liner will explore the Atlantic seaboard, sailing from Montreal to New Orleans.

Amber Wilson, International Marketing Manager at Cruiseco, says that the luxury ship will provide 682 guests with a once in a lifetime experience.

"This really is a unique opportunity to discover Canada and the USA.  As a mid-sized ship, Azamara Quest can visit lesser-known ports, dock in prime spots and savour the local delights of waters that larger ships simply can't reach.  Guests will venture off the beaten track as they explore unusual destinations and become immersed in the history of the unique ports," says Wilson.

"With records dating back tens of thousands of years, North America is a continent rich in history and intrigue.  This itinerary provides an ideal holiday - combining history with luxury travel.   Visiting 19 ports, with nine overnight stays, this voyage enables guests to experience the diversity of this part of the world, delve into the past and discover something new about North America."

Departing Montreal on 24 September 2016, Azamara Quest will spend 32 nights cruising along North America's historic eastern seaboard.  Azamara Quest will dock at ports less visited by tourists, as well as some of North America's most iconic.

Highlights include Quebec City, where guests can explore La Citadelle, North America's largest fort; Provincetown, a diverse community on the tip of Cape Cod and home to one of the most productive whaling and fishing ports on the East Coast; and Baltimore, or 'Charm City' as it is sometimes known, which serves as a gateway to Philadelphia, Fort McHenry and Washington D.C.

"With numerous late night and overnight stays, guests are to spend more time experiencing ports off the tourist track, uncovering the histories that have shaped this part of the world," says Wilson.

Along the way, guests will meander the Saguenay Fjord, North America's southern-most fjord surrounded by glacial waters and striking forests, and St Lawrence River, where guests can capture scenic bays and incredible wildlife.  Other ports of call include: Halifax, the birthplace of Peggy's Point Lighthouse; Norfolk, the world's largest natural harbour; Port Canaveral, where guests can visit the Kennedy Space Center; and many more unusual locations.

This 32-night charter includes: all meals aboard Azamara Quest; house wine and beer served with lunch and dinner; bottled mineral water throughout the cruise; full on board programme of entertainment, enhancement and port lectures; gratuities to dining room and stateroom staff aboard Azamara Quest; arrival and departure transfers, port charges and taxes.
