WORLD CARS SLASHES CAR RENTAL RATES

World Cars has announced huge savings in international car rental rates as a result of its merger this month with car rental giant Auto Europe and the continuing strength of the Australian dollar against other major currencies.

Its cut prices by as much as $26 a day for rentals in the UK, around ten per cent in the USA, and is offering what it calls "rock bottom rates for New Zealand skiing trips this winter."

The merger with Auto Europe that's one of the biggest car brokers in the world with over a million bookings a year, gives World Cars access to over twenty major rental car suppliers at more than 4000 locations world-wide, including Thrifty, Europcar, Hertz and Avis and brand-new Citroens in Europe.

"Our own and Auto Europe's buying power means great deals and huge savings for Australian renters both here and internationally," said Managing Director of World Cars, Chris Hamill. "In many cases we can save clients ten, fifteen and even twenty per cent on major supplier's own advertised rates.

"And we don't charge credit card fees, booking amendment, cancellation or late booking fees."

Rental bookings made by July 31 are valid for collection any time up to December 31 this year; for full details go online to www.worldcars.com.au , phone 1300 55 44 32 or email michellew@worldcars.com.au for a brochure.
