Cruise into Front Row Seats this Australia Day



Sydney Harbour is the only place to be this Australia Day and Captain Cook Cruises is offering a range of cruises so passengers can have front row harbour seats to all the action including the Awesome Forces flyovers, Ferrython, Tall ship race, dressed boat display and much more!

Indulge in a delicious lunch on the MV Sydney 2000 while enjoying all the festivities on the Harbour with Captain Cook Cruises Sky deck, Club deck and Show deck lunch cruises.

Choose from four mouth-watering courses and an open bar of premium wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks on The Sky Deck lunch cruise. With upper deck seating, this premium cruise is only $129 per adult and $80 per child aged 5 -14 years.

The Club Deck and Show Deck lunch cruises include a fabulous Aussie buffet featuring Sydney Rock Oysters, Prawns, smoked salmon and a selection of Aussie meats and salads.

The Club Deck cruise includes an open bar of the house wines, beers and soft drinks and is only $115 per adult and $70 per child aged 5 – 14 years. The Show Deck cruise includes a welcome drink and a purchase bar and is only $99 per adult and $45 per child aged 5 to 14 years.

The Sky deck, Club deck and Show deck lunch cruises onboard the MV Sydney 2000 depart on Wednesday 26 January at 10.15am from No.1 King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour and returns at 2.15pm.

For anyone wanting to cheer on the catamarans in the Ferrython or ships in the Tall Ships Race, Captain Cook Cruises has two cruises designed especially for this.

Avid spectators of The Ferrython, one of Australia’s best-loved spectator events, can join Captain Cook Cruises, Ferry Race cruise, and cheer on the little green and yellow catamarans as they race up and down the harbour, battling it out for line honours when they finish under the Harbour Bridge.

The Ferry Race cruise departs No.6 Jetty Circular Quay on Wednesday 26 January 2011 at 10.30am and returns at 12.30 pm. Prices are adults $55 and children $25.

On The Aussie Day Sails cruise, passengers can cheer on the majestic Tall Ships as they race around Sydney Harbour, see some of the action of the Australia Day Regatta and catch the Awesome Forces Hawk 127 flyover. Passengers are also welcome to bring their own picnic lunch with a bar onboard for the purchase of all beverages.

The Aussie Day Sails cruise departs No.6 Jetty Circular Quay on Wednesday 26 January 2011 at 12.45pm and returns at 2.45pm. Adults are priced at $55 and children at $25.
