Nitmiluk Gorge Opened For Canoeing Season

canoesNitmiluk Gorge has been opened for canoeing of as of 3 June 2013. Following a late wet season, NT Parks and Wildlife has conducted a full check of the Gorge and officially opened it for canoeing and swimming. 

“We encourage all guests who wish to part take in canoe hire to pre-book as this product is very popular and fills up very quickly,” said Nitmiluk Tours Marketing Manager Ms Corinne Lewis. “The Gorge is one of the most picturesque places to canoe in Australia – guests can admire the stunning views, get up close to the wildlife, explore the rocky escarpments from the riverbank or cool off at a sandy beach with a swim – all at their own pace.”
Canoeing options include:

Half Day Hire - 8am – 12noon OR 12:30pm – 4:30pm
DOUBLE - $36.50p/p
SINGLE - $51.00P/P
Full Day Hire- 8am – 4pm
DOUBLE - $47.00P/P
SINGLE - $64.00P/P
OVERNIGHT - 8AM – 4PM (following day)
DOUBLE - $68.50P/P
SINGLE - $123.00P/P
