Two of Africa’s iconic experiences – Victoria Falls and wildlife safaris in the Kruger region – will join a voyage aboard the iconic ocean liner, Queen Mary 2, in a new cruise tour hosted by Cruise Express next March.
Departing Sydney on March 25, 2015, Melbourne on March 27 and Perth on April 2, 2015, the ‘Icons of Africa’ tour begins with a voyage aboard the majestic Queen Mary 2 from Australia to Cape Town via Mauritius. Three nights are spent in Cape Town, with the tour including trips to Table Mountain and the acclaimed Stellenbosch wine region. Guests will then fly to the world-famous Kruger region for two nights at the deluxe Lion Sands River Lodge with several wildlife safaris also included. A flight to Victoria Falls, which are twice the size of Niagara Falls, then follows with two nights spent at the world’s largest sheet of falling water, with local touring and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River included in the package.
