Sequel to the successful launch of the Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea in December, 2013, The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai introduced the Lady in Pink promotion in March, 2014, engaging guests to an irresistible indulgent afternoon tea. Every lady who came dressed in pink, ordered a Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea set , took a picture of herself with the tea set wearing the handmade Damiani Butterfly chocolate ring and submitted her photograph to the hotel's official WeChat page, was in the running for the competition.
On 20 June, 2014, top 10 best photos were picked by judges Andrew Dartnell, hotel manager of The Langham, Xintiandi, Marlene Fang, director of sales and marketing of The Langham, Xintiandi, and Lilian Chen, chief operations officer of Damiani China. The finale followed with a raffle draw of the 10 best photos conducted by John O'Shea, general manager of The Langham, Xintiandi to pick the grand prize winner of the Lady in Pink competition.
