With our specially-designed new ship, ABN RAJMAHAL, we are proud to announce the inauguration of regular weekly departure 7-night Ganges cruises from Patna right up to the city of Varanasi, starting in July 2014.
These cruises will serve as a basis for sightseeing of
India's holiest city as well as an introduction to completely untouched areas
of rural India. Operating between two cities with excellent flight
connections, the cruises should be easy to package and easy to sell, with
selling prices starting from US $1407 per person in twin or single cabin. Full
details of the provisional itinerary, Bengal Despatch cruises 9 and 10, can be
found on our website www.assambengalnavigation.com.
2014-15 SEASON DATES AND
PRICES ANNOUNCED
Also now uploaded onto our website is the complete listing of
cruise departure dates and prices from July 2014 to April 2015 for both the
Ganges/Hugli and the Brahmaputra. Prices are unchanged from 2013-14, and thanks
to the introduction of main deck as well as upper deck cabins on our new ship
ABN RAJMAHAL, some cruises are cheaper than ever before, with selling
prices for a 7-night Hugli cruise starting from US $938 per person in twin
or single.
BRAHMAPUTRA CRUISE
CAPACITY DOUBLED
From November 2014 both our current ships, ABN SUKAPHA and ABN
CHARAIDEW, will be operating on the Brahmaputra in Assam, offering a total 24
rooms per week (48 guests), with separate departure days. The new sailings have
been timed to coincide with the current Drukair flight schedules from Paro to
Guwahati, thus enabling the perfect two week combination of a week
in Bhutan followed by a gentle 7 night cruise in Assam, with its
outstanding wildlife parks, tribal villages, temples and teagardens.
