In a series of voyages, the 94-guest Sea Cloud II reveals the exotic destinations of Costa Rica and the Panama Canal this summer.
Visiting no fewer than eleven incredibly diverse environments guests will experience stunning national parks, rainforests, riverbanks, volcanic landscapes and picture-perfect beach paradises. Fares start from AUD$4,400* per person, double occupancy, for a 10 days/9 nights voyage including all shore excursions. Departing from Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica on 2 January 2014, ports of call include Colba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the stunning Costa Rican destinations of Playa San Josecito, Quepos, and Islas Tortugas. Sea Cloud II will sail through the Panama Canal on 10 January before arriving into Colon, Panama City on 11 January 2014.
A pre-cruise New Years’ Eve package is on offer in San Jose from 30 December to 02 January 2014 including 3 nights bed and breakfast at the Intercontinental Hotel, full-day excursions to the Poás volcano, Espiritu Santo and the Hacienda Tayutic, New Year's Eve special event at the hotel and all transfers. Alternatively, a 10 days/ 9 nights cruise aboard Sea Cloud II will depart Colon, Panama City on 11 January 2014 and sail into Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica on 20 January 2014. Highlights include the crossing of the Panama Canal on 12 January and snorkelling and swimming in the Coiba Marine National Park in Panama. Along the way, guests will hike in the Corcovado National Park one of Costa Rica’s unspoilt rainforests boasting 400 different species of birds, gigantic trees and abundant wildlife including tapirs, pumas, jaguars and anteaters. Fares start from AUD$4,400*per person and all excursions are included in the cruise only rate, a saving of over AUD$350 per person.
