Come and Celebrate Authentic Oktoberfest with Sheraton Macao Hotel this Fall

Fall season is around the corner, not only with crisp air and beautiful weather, but also one of the year’s best celebrations, an occasion recognized the world over: Oktoberfest. Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central, the world’s largest Sheraton and Macau’s biggest hotel, is proud to welcome the Oktoberfest season for the first time in Cotai Strip Resorts Macao: highlighting Bavarian prestigious Paulaner beers, paired with authentic Oktoberfest cuisine.

Exterior at nightBut food and drink isn’t all Oktoberfest has to offer, as live music entertainment and carnival games will be featured throughout the 11-day long festival, running from October 10 to 20, 2013, giving guests plenty of opportunities to celebrate the beer season with friends and family. This is part of Sheraton Macao Hotel’s on-going commitment in bringing world famous and fun-filled entertainment to our guests from around the world.

Quintessential to any Oktoberfest is beer and Sheraton Macao Hotel has partnered with Paulaner, a German brewery which was established in 1634 in Munich to serve authentic German beer at the festival.

Every year, there are more than 13 million liters of Paulaner Oktoberfestbier sold internationally, so guests at Sheraton Macao Hotel  enjoying the hotel’s Oktoberfest can be part of the worldwide festival revelers soaking up genuine German brews without making a trip to Munich. Paulaner that will be served at Sheraton Macao Hotel’s Oktoberfest is brewed in Munich and delivered to Macau for the event.

Sheraton Macao Hotel -OktoberfestThe ideal accompaniment to Oktoberfest beer is traditional German cuisine. Sheraton Macao Hotel will be flying in Chef Sven Roffmann from Sheraton Munich Arabellapark, who will dish-up a wide range of Oktoberfest favourites such as bratwursts, hand-rolled pretzels, pork knuckles and many more.  The highlight of the event is the 40m by 15m Festhalle tent, featuring Sheraton Macao Hotel associates dressed in Dirndl outfits (traditional Bavarian dresses). This fall at Sheraton Macao Hotel, guests can definitely immerse themselves in a real Oktoberfest celebration – Bavarian style.

The guarantee for great fun does not end with the authentic German food and beer. The authenticity of the Sheraton Macao Hotel’s Oktoberfest is enhanced by the musical entertainment provided by Toni’s Beerband (led by Anton Hammerer), flown in from Bavaria specially for this occasion, they will lead guests in traditional Oktoberfest sing-a-longs and Polka dances throughout the evening, ensuring everyone has a good time.
