New World Travel explores US South West on 12-night tour

The company's new ‘SouthWest Tour’ travels from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and on to San Francisco, along the way visiting five of North America's most famous national parks, including:
  • the Grand Canyon (Arizona) - passengers arrive at one of the world's geological wonders in style after a 4.5 hour rail journey on-board the historic Grand Canyon Railway
  • Monument Valley (Arizona-Utah) - a sunset tour with a Navajo guide then a night under the stars in a tent or a traditional Navajo 'Hogan', surrounded by the vast isolated red sandstone hills that have served as a backdrop to endless wild-west movies
  • Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah) - famous for its hoodoos (delicate chimney like rock formations) and giant, natural, multi-coloured amphitheatres
  • Monument ValleyZion National Park (Utah) - home to an incredibly diverse collection of wildlife and landscapes, from sandstone canyons and spectacular gorges to high plateaus covered by forests
  • Yosemite (California) - spend the night in the very heart of America's oldest and most famous National Park before exploring beautiful cliffs, mountains, waterfalls and alpine lakes.
The tour also explores some of the South West’s most exciting cities, with tours of Los Angeles and San Francisco, and a night at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. Additional highlights include:
  • a full-day tour of Universal Studios
  • a flight over Lake Powell
  • optional excursions in Las Vegas, such as horseback riding in Red Rock Canyon and zip lining in Bootleg Canyon
  • the chance to cycle over San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito (returning by ferryboat).
Net prices for the 12-night SouthWest Tour range from USD1704 pp twin share for groups of 35 passengers and USD2489.00 pp twin share for groups of 15 passengers.
