MCLEOD’S DAUGHTERS STAR INSPIRED BY ULURU

McLeod's Daughters actress Zoe Naylor ventured to the Red Centre for the first time to shoot the cover of Australian Traveller Magazine's Outback Issue - out now.

Staying in the luxury white-domed tents of Voyages Longitude 131° Naylor was touched by the experience.

"I was blown away by the place. Its shapes, colours, and life were breathtaking. I had that typical Aussie feeling of 'at last I get it'," said Naylor of her first venture into the Red Centre. "It was one of the most adventurous and stimulating places I have ever been," Naylor added.

She will definitely be returning to experience the Red Centre at a more leisurely pace than the hectic shooting schedule demanded of a cover shoot.

And like any true star, she was treated to the very best of the Red Centre, staying at Voyages Longitude 131°, Australia's premier safari-style resort boasting luxury tents with unrivalled views of Uluru.

Each elevated, five-star tent is as unique as its surroundings, paying homage to Australian pioneers who have a distinct relationship with the deserts of Central Australia. No expense has been spared to ensure the quality of room inclusions and guest comfort levels. Few properties can match the solitude and privacy offered by the location.

"Beyond imaginable, Longitude 131° is such a special place. It makes you appreciate what a privilege it is to be an Australian when you can experience such incredible landscapes in total luxury," Naylor said.

Just nine kilometres from Uluru, Voyages Longitude 131° has set new standards for eco-tourism in Australia, with 15 luxurious tented sanctuaries on the border of the spiritually powerful, dual world heritage-listed of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Voyages Longitude 131° continues to attract visitors worldwide to experience the very heart of Australia - in style, luxury and with minimal impact on the environment.
