Fully-escorted by one of Australia's most-experienced cruise-travel agents, Maree McClelland the tour begins with the 2-nights in Venice before joining the 4-star Italian liner MSC Poesia for Bari in Italy, Katakolon (Greece,) Izmir and Istanbul (Turkey,) Dubrovnik in Croatia, and 2-nights in the Italian Lakes.

Guests then transfer by luxury coach for a night in Nice before joining the 138-passenger, 4-star Avalon Scenery for Aries, Avignon, Viviers, Tournon-Vienne, Lyon, Macon-Tournus, Chalon-sur-Saone and Beaune, and Paris where there are three hotel nights.

Accommodation aboard Poesia is in an Outside Cabin with Balcony, and on Avalon Scenery in an Outside Stateroom with floor to ceiling window; there are 22-breakfasts, 12-lunches and 15-dinners included in the package, as well as select guided sightseeing on Poesia and nine port excursions on Scenery.
