The Classic Safari Company offers a Kenyan Classic - a traditional mobile camping safari.

The Classic Safari Company has just released an exclusive ten day itinerary with fourth generation Kenyan, Hamish Grant, owner of Grant & Cameron Safaris.   To celebrate this event, Hamish Grant and Kieran Barnard, a professional safari guide, will be visiting Sydney to present their journey to the more discerning safari enthusiast.

Grant grew up on his parents property 'Gogar Farm', a dairy farm, located on the Western slopes of the Rift Valley.   It is here that he welcomes guests to his charming and colonial styled farmhouse, which is steeped in history and the inspiration for the Oscar winning movie, Nowhere in Africa.  The farm has easy access to world famous Lake Nakuru, Kenya's first world heritage wilderness area along with other fascinating attractions located in Africa's Rift Valley.

Being accommodated at Gogar Farm is a unique experience and just one incredible aspect of going on safari with Hamish and Kieran.    The journey combines abundant wildlife viewing in the Samburu and Masai Mara, the spectacular scenery and the rich cultural experiences that make Kenya an must see destination, into a safari whilst enjoying the experience of staying in a private and exclusive tented safari camp.

If you travel between June and October you can expect to witness one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles – the "migration" – when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle converge on these plains in their search for better grazing and water.

These once in a lifetime Kenyan Classic Safaris start USD 7995 per person land only and visits Meru in the north, the Rift Valley and Hamish Grant's private home and the Masai Mara in mobile tented safari camps.

Hamish Grant will be presenting his safaris on Monday 11 & Tuesday 12 April from 6 for 6.30 at the offices of The Classic Safari Company in Woollahra.   Bookings are essential.
