Responding to demand for more boutique luxury cruise options in Oman's unspoiled Musandam Peninsula, adventure cruise specialist Musandam Sea Adventure has announced its plans to operate two new vessels in the region.

The company will position the 'Majan', a twin masted yacht and the 'Monalisa', a 'Gullet' class cruiser in the region where both vessels will operate a series of short cruise programs for small groups.

These include a combined day/night charter cruise program on board the 'Mona Lisa' priced from AUD6300* which includes all meals, overnight onboard accommodation, fishing and snorkeling gear and refreshments.

The ''Majan' will initially operate a selection of three itineraries.

These range from a full-day cruise to over night and two-night cruise options complete with all meals and activities.

Prices start from AUD2550* per person for a full-day cruise to the Khor Sham Fjord, a snorkelling expedition and dolphin watching and is inclusive of lunch.

The 'Majan' has a seating capacity for groups of between 15-20 passengers making it ideal for short duration programs for groups and charters. She also features four berths for clients looking for longer cruise and overnight options.

The 'Monalisa' has an overnight capacity for 12 passengers. Her onboard facilities include kayaks and a speed boat

Musandam Sea Adventure also operates traditional dhow cruises, overnight camping and whale and dolphin watching programs in the Musandam Peninsula which is famed for its carved limestone fjords, wadis and empty beaches.

The company also caters to the region's growing popularity with SCUBA divers eager to explore the region's spectacular deep reefs and teeming marine life.

The Musandam Sea Adventure announcement is an added bonus for the local cruise industry.

It follows the commencement last month of a series of adventure/dive/camping cruise itineraries between Muscat and Musandam operated by the 'Azzura', a 75-foot luxury catamaran.
