Peppers Bluewater Resort Lake Tekapo Ready For Bumper Ski Season

Peppers Bluewater Resort, Lake Tekapo is gearing up for a busy Stay and Ski season with three of the South Island's most popular boutique ski fields now open.

Ohau and Mt Dobson are welcoming skiers, with 120cm & 170cm bases respectively, while Roundhill is opening with a 180cm base ready to go.

The roads are open and all three fields are within easy driving distance from Peppers Bluewater, making it the ultimate après ski  and stay resort.  Peppers is just 35 minutes to Roundhill Ski Field, 50 minutes to Mt Dobson and 80 minutes to Lake Ohau Snow Fields - some of the finest snowfields in New Zealand's Southern Alps.

Set on the shores of Lake Tekapo, Peppers Bluewater Resort is surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of the Southern Alps, and is a haven for a relaxing escape after a day' skiing. Inspired by the landscape, the architectural design reflects the natural colours and textures of the Mackenzie basin, with multiple room configurations available.

It's a vintage snow season for Tekapo and surrounding ski fields this year, making it the perfect time to visit.

Peppers Bluewater is celebrating with a special offer for families, with children (under 12 years) dining FREE from the children's menu in Rakinui Restaurant when with an accompanying adult. Valid from 6 July 2013 until 30 September 2013.
