Discover the Delights of Africa and India with Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises is offering Australian travellers the chance to explore the stunning wilderness and rich history of India and Africa from the comfort of its superliner Sun Princess on a special 46-night voyage to the two continents.

Departing Fremantle on May 3, 2011, the cruise sails first for India, via bustling Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand, with fares priced from $7999 per person twin share.

Passengers will visit Cochin, Mumbai and Goa in India, with the chance to see the striking Taj Mahal on a shore excursion to Agra from Mumbai and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Goa.

From Goa, Sun Princess sails to the exotic shores of the Maldives and the Seychelles before visiting four ports in South Africa, including Richards Bay, an overnight call in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban.

The gateways to some of Africa's oldest and finest game parks, Richards Bay and Port Elizabeth will offer passengers their fill of African wildlife spotting before Sun Princess returns to Fremantle via tropical ReuLarissa Kayenion Island and Mauritius.

Princess Cruises Executive Vice President Jan Swartz said Africa and India were filled with the magnificent sights so many travellers dreamed of visiting.

"Open spaces filled with roaming wildlife, colorful civilisations and rich history never fail to capture the imagination in these exotic ports," Ms Swartz said.
