Castaway Bay Opens at Sea World

Sea World will today officially launch its brand new interactive adventure playground, Castaway Bay.

The exciting new $6 Million family attraction caters for kids of all ages and features an amazing themed ride and fun filled child friendly play areas.

Sea World Director of Operations Dianne Rigg said that Castaway Bay is a wonderful addition to Sea World and will be a great success with both local and interstate guests.

"Castaway Bay has been specially designed for the family market with three exciting and innovative attractions spread over a huge 8000 square metre area," she said.

An Australian first, the Battle Boats ride features pirate themed boats, each armed with eight water cannons. Kids will be able to spray fellow Battle Boats passengers as well as unsuspecting parents as they watch their kids on the new ride. Get set to get wet!

The Sky Fortress is a huge fort like attraction featuring five fun filled levels of rope bridges, tunnels, slides, games and puzzles. The attraction stands six meters off the ground and is sure to be a hit with the kids.

The best way to experience Castaway is with a VIP Pass which offers unlimited entry to Sea World, Movie World and Wet'n'Wild until June 30, 2011 for just AUD$99.99.
