Captain Cook Lands at Stamford Grand North Ryde

Last night over 100 local business people, media and MP John Alexander joined Stamford Executive Chairman C.K.Ow, the Hon Mark Vaile and staff to open the new $5 million restaurant and bar Captain Cook's Cove. Guests were treated to the exciting new menu featuring international brasserie and seafood buffet.

Stamford Grand North Ryde General Manager Paul Gallop, "We're delighted to unveil the contemporary new look restaurant and bar. With such a high demand for innovative menus and excellent service, the $5 million upgrade is perfect for breakfast, a quick lunch, business dinners or after work drinks at the bar".

Paul Gallop welcomed guests and gave thanks to the many partners that made the upgrade possible. 'Captain Cook' then took the stage, directing everyone's attention to the terrace where the lights were lowered and two Musketeers fired four shots to signify the official grand opening.

Boasting a relaxed and approachable atmosphere, the new look includes floor-to-ceiling windows that face the hotel's tropical gardens and lagoon, while the interior draws upon a contemporary, nautical theme. Features include black stone bench tops with illuminated onyx panels, open spaces framed with light stone walls, screens and vibrant modular lounges.

Dine at the new Captain Cook's Cove at Stamford Grand North Ryde and take your taste buds on a culinary journey of discovery with Executive Chef Simon Wong's international brasserie cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 6am - 11pm. For reservations call (02) 9888 1077.
