Fatty Crab spices up Valentine’s Day, saying “We can’t promise to give you love, but what we can promise is to give you crabs.” Chef Kris has crafted a sensual 5-course crab menu, complete with Fatty Crab’s South East Asian flavours, to keep things hot and steamy. Couples can start their night at Fatty Crab to ‘wet’ their appetite for the night’s later surprises.
The 5-course crab menu (HK$800 per person) includes a glass of house red or white wine and begins with a mouth-watering Smoked Crab Laksa made of lai fun noodles, daikon and Thai basil to slurp. Couples can share a plate of Crab Claws prepared with snow crab, black pepper and ginger butter to build up the flavours before diving into Crab Cakes, a mix of jumbo lump crab meat, roasted chili aioli and mixed greens that will pleasure the senses.
The signature Chili Crab made with pacific Dungeness crab, chili sauce and Pullman toast will peak the experience before allowing guests to ease into a Warm Chocolate Cake served with ginger crème anglaise and mixed berries, an aphrodisiac that will lead to a night of sweet surrender.
Guests may order from the a la carte menu if they are craving for other signatures that are less ‘crabby’ such as the Crispy Pork and Watermelon Salad (HK$150) or the Bacon and Clams (HK$160). Late night revellers and singletons that rather have a stimulating cocktail such as Prison Sex (HK$120) or Fidelity (HK$125) can spend their evening at the Fatty Bar.
Fatty Crab guarantees to spice up your night with a delicious helping of crabs this Valentine’s Day.
