SAS announces special fares to 40 + European cities

Scandinavian Airlines is offering an exceptional incentive for Australians to travel to Europe by launching special business and economy class fares covering over 40 European cities including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki.  

For sale from now until 31 Jul 09, the special business class fare of $4,450, nett* is available ex Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, via Bangkok for departures until 31 December 2009.The special economy class fare of $1,440, nett* is also available for travel via Bangkok or Tokyo and includes departures ex Cairns.

"The strengthening Australian Dollar is now favourable against the Scandinavian currencies by 10 % compared with this time last year," says Lars Olofsson, General Manager Scandinavian Airlines Australia and New Zealand.  "Combining with our special fares it makes the Nordic region an affordably attractive destination to visit right now," said Olofsson.
