Luxury travel company, Abercrombie & Kent is delighted to announce the second in its exclusive collection of private jet journeys.

Taking off 6 October 2014, this epic voyage is accompanied by A&K Founder, Geoffrey Kent, and visits nine countries in 26 days.

Just 50 privileged guests will be part of this extraordinary adventure, travelling by chartered Boeing 757-200ER complete with comfortable Business Class seats, a cabin crew dedicated to guest comfort and enjoyment, an on-board lounge and well stocked bar. This luxury jet can land where the large airlines cannot, ensuring seamless arrival and departure arrangements every step of the way.

“From the start, I wanted this trip to combine some of my favourite places with exotic destinations even I have yet to visit,” explains Geoffrey Kent. “From Kenya’s Masai Mara, the land where I grew up and A&K began, to destinations that are new to me such as Easter Island, which I’ve tried to reach three different times. Under ordinary circumstances these remote places are difficult – perhaps impossible – to visit on a single journey. But a private luxury jet brings all these experiences within reach, in comfort and in style.”

The itinerary includes a cruise on the mighty Amazon River, with expert naturalist guides revealing the secrets of the region’s stunning biological diversity plus a dinner prepared and hosted by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of Latin America’s most innovative chefs. Next stop is Easter Island, one of the most remote destinations on earth where some extraordinary cultural events are planned. A tropical interlude in Samoa is part of the journey, before heading to the highlands of Papua New Guinea and an audience with the Huli Wigmen in the Sepik River Basin.

There’s time to relax in Bali, as well as be part of a special temple ceremony and a visit to Komodo National Park to see the prehistoric Komodo dragon. Heading into the Indian Ocean, the island of Sri Lanka is a certain highlight. The World Heritage listed Galle Fort is a charming inclusion and dinner with British and American diplomats a rare opportunity, along with a tea factory visit and exploration of the Buddhist site of Sigiriya. Then it’s onwards to Madagascar for encounters with the country’s rare primate - the lemur.

Kenya is the penultimate stop, where an exclusive mobile luxury tented camp in the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve and guided game drives are sure to be a highlight. The rich variety of wildlife here is unmatched and an informal talk with a conservationist will be an enlightening and educational experience. The journey ends in Nice for a festive farewell in Monte Carlo, Geoffrey Kent’s adopted home.

Leading this expedition is a Tour Director, chosen from the ranks of A&K’s international coterie of professionals, who oversees everything from start to finish and is ably assisted by a team of Tour Managers and expert local guides. A&K’s Travelling Bell Boy® collects luggage from each room and ensures it is waiting at the next destination.

Accommodations are always the best available, selected to reflect the destination’s spirit and style. They may be historic hotels such as Amangalla in Sri Lanka, intimate boats like Aqua and Aria in the Amazon, lavish resorts such as Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay in Bali or remote bush camps in the wilds of Africa or PNG. Whatever the lodging, each one offers a distinctive sense of place and gracious hospitality.

Abercrombie & Kent is one of the most experienced in the private jet business, having designed and operated dozens of private jet programs on a variety of luxury aircraft to destinations around the world, as well as custom-designed jet itineraries for families and private groups.
