Sofitel Luxury Hotels has added another string to its sponsorships bow, with Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa confirming its involvement in the prestigious Michael Hill International Violin Competition in 2013.
The Competition, which aims to promote and showcase the talents of young violinists from around the world, will run from May 31st through June the 3rdth at the Memorial Centre in Queenstown before it heads to Auckland for the culminating rounds.
In addition to hosting international judges and guests in Queenstown during the event, Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa will host an indulgent dinner experience in celebration of the Competition on Saturday June 1st.
The celebrity-studded dinner will take place at the new Jervois Steak House, attended by famed chef Simon Gault of Masterchef New Zealand fame and Competition patrons, Sir Michael and Christine Lady Hill. Proceeds raised will be donated in support of the worthy Cure Kids charity.
