Sydney International Airport recognised for outstanding food & beverage offerings

Sydney International Airport has just been awarded the world's best airport food and beverage operator at the inaugural Airport Food & Beverage Awards held in the UK on 25 January, 2011.

The awards were a highlight of the first worldwide Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference, which attracted 170 delegates from across the globe who voted in a host of different categories, including best airport bar and restaurant.  Sydney International Airport claimed top honours winning best overall airport food and beverage offer (10-25 million passengers).  The event brought together airports, operators and suppliers with a view of recognising and analysing best practice in a sector that is vital to the future of the airport industry.
