Bangkok Airways welcomes a new Airbus 319
Suvarnabhumi Airport – Recently, Mr. Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth, Chief Executive Officer Bangkok Airways (PG) welcomed the latest Airbus 319 named “Luang Prabang” at Suvarnabhumi Airport. For the delivery, Captain Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, the airline’s President ferried the new aircraft in from the AIRBUS manufacturer in Hamburg, Germany.
Bangkok Airways has progressively achieved with the arrival of its 20th aircraft in design of a colorful rainbow. This dual-class aircraft is divided into 12 Blue Ribbon class seats (PG’s business class) and 108 seats in economic class which will service the routes between Bangkok-Phnom Penh, BangkokHiroshima, Bangkok-Maldives and Samui-Singapore and Samui-Hong Kong.
Presently, Bangkok Airways’ fleet consists of 20 aircraft; nine ATR 72s, two Boeing 717-200s, three Airbus 320s, and five Airbus 319s.
