KANGAROO ISLAND LODGE JOINS ACCOR'S ALL SEASONS HOTEL NETWORK

Accor Hotel group will welcome Kangaroo Island Lodge to its All Seasons hotel network from 1 March with the property to be known as All Seasons Kangaroo Island Lodge.

The past year has seen significant investment at KI Lodge in refurbished rooms and exteriors in preparation for the All Seasons rebranding, complementing its established reputation for food and beverage services, quality facilities and superb location.

"We see our partnership with Accor as a means of sustaining and improving our position in the marketplace, with promotion to a global audience," said Director of Kangaroo Island Lodge, Roger Cook.

The All Seasons Kangaroo Island Lodge will join a network of 21 All Seasons hotels across Australia including other nature-based properties such as All Seasons Eco Resort Phillip Island, All Seasons Port Macquarie Ki-ea Apartments, All Seasons Port Stephens Salamandar Shores and All Seasons Sanctuary Golf Resort in Bunbury, offering excellent economy style accommodation that is sensitive to the natural surroundings of its location.

"Kangaroo Island Lodge is an excellent addition to the expanding All Seasons network for the conference and leisure market, and Accor is looking forward to working with our distribution channels to promote this new addition to the network," said General Manager Accor Franchise Hotels, Dino Mezzatesta.

For conferences and meetings looking to retreat far from the distractions of daily life, the All Seasons Kangaroo Island Lodge's purpose built conference facility provides state-of-the art technology, equipment and business services, catering for up to 95 delegates.

The All Seasons Kangaroo Island Lodge is a favourite accommodation choice for nature lovers visiting the Island, which is truly a destination for 'all seasons'. Summer is seal season with New Zealand Fur seal and Australian sea lion pups born throughout the warmer months; Autumn sees Glossy Black cockatoos and Little Penguins begin to nest; in Winter baby koalas and kangaroo and wallaby joeys start to emerge from the mother's pouch and Southern right whales pass the shores on their migration from Antarctic waters to the Great Australian Bight to calve; and in spring, Wildflowers are in abundance with approximately 40 endemic floral species found on Kangaroo Island.

There are 31 All Seasons across the Asia Pacific including 21 hotels in Australia, with an expected expansion to 150 All Seasons hotels globally by the end of 2010.
