Dawn Princess 2010 World Voyage Now on Sale
Princess Cruises has announced details of its second 104-night world voyage onboard Dawn Princess, departing Sydney in May 2010, to give Australians a chance to enjoy a Northern Hemisphere summer as they travel the globe.
The spectacular voyage will sail on a westbound route making 42 ports of call in 26 countries. The northern sector of the journey will hold particular significance to Australians with the superliner cruising past ANZAC cove in Turkey. Passengers will also enjoy a memorable overnight stay in Venice before sailing to more than 12 other beautiful European ports including Dubrovnik, Rome, Florence, Barcelona and Paris.
The southern part of the trip will take in Southampton and Dublin in the UK, Boston, Newport and New York in the USA, the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbados before Dawn Princess transits the Panama Canal to Mexico, LA, Hawaii, Tahiti, American Samoa and Auckland ahead of her return to Sydney.
Early booking fares are now available for the world voyage which departs Sydney on May 21, 2010 with prices for the full 104-night epic journey starting from $19,199* per person complete twin.
Princess Cruises is also offering guests the chance to book shorter sectors ranging from 11 to 82 nights including:
• a 24-night Sydney to Dubai voyage, visiting Darwin, Bali, Singapore, Port Kelang and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Cochin and Mumbai in India and Muscat in Oman. Fares are available from $4479* per person complete twin.
• a 39-night journey from New York to Sydney which visits Antigua and Barbados in the Caribbean, the exotic island of Curacao off the Venezuelan coast before transiting the Panama Canal to Acapulco and Manzanillo in Mexico, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Papeete and Moorea in Tahiti, Pago Pago in American Samoa and Auckland. Fares are available from $6779* per person complete twin.
• a 54-night journey half way around the world from Sydney to Southampton visiting Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Oman and Dubai before transiting the Suez Canal to Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Spain and France. Fares are available from $10,499* per person complete twin.
Passengers booking the full world cruise before August 1, 2009, will receive $1000 per person on board credit, while passengers booked on sectors of 50 nights or longer will enjoy an on board credit of $500.
Carrying 1998 passengers and 745 crew, the 77,000-tonne Dawn Princess has 999 staterooms, with almost half of them featuring private balconies.
