BreakFree Eco Beach gears up for festival season in Byron Bay

Byron Bay is fast becoming the festival town with an eclectic calendar of events and BreakFree Eco Beach has released an accommodation deal for festival season with a 'Stay Longer and Save' offer.

The Sample Food Festival on 7 September held at nearby Bangalow, will feature more than 20 restaurants showcasing tasting plates, market stalls and exhibitors from the region's finest food producers, cooking demonstrations, a Byron Farmers market and a vibrant children's' entertainment program.

The newest event to be held in Byron – the Boomerang Festival – will be held over the long weekend from 4-6 October. A new world indigenous festival for all Australians, featuring music and dance including Archie Roach and The Medics, speakers such as Ernie Dingo, comedy, theatre and film.

The beautiful beaches of Byron are the next focus from 25 – 27 October for the Byron Bay Surf Festival, delivering a fusion of surf culture to the shoreline, from a surf art market and surf swap meet to live music and a surf expression session.

The spotlight on everything Latin for the 8th Annual Byron Latin Fiesta, from 1 -3 November 1-3, focuses on the fun of this vibrant culture with top international Latin dance instructors holding workshops, Latin DJs and Latin bands all in party mode.

To celebrate New Years Eve and the incoming year 2014, the Falls Music and Arts Festival comes to town for the very first time, from 31 December 3 January, offering four days of music, camping and arts, as well as comedy, theatre, circus and cabaret.
