The celebrations will commence on October 31 when the city celebrates its culinary heritage during the annual Hong Kong Wine and Dine festivities, which commences with the Wine and Dine Festival (October 31 - November 3).

The Festival, currently in its fifth year, will this year be held at a stunning new location on Hong Kong Island's Central harbour front.  It will include hundreds of booths featuring top international wines and delicious local cuisine and visitors will also be able to enjoy a wide selection of premium wines, fine food and wine tasting classes at the Grand Tasting Pavilion.

The Festival is sure to entice the taste buds of lovers of fine food and wine and will usher in the month-long Wine and Dine celebrations, throughout November, in the city's popular dining districts.  Visitors will be able to enjoy special wine and dining offers in the city's restaurants, as well as, wine and dine themed tours, street carnivals and wine classes.

"Winter is the perfect time to visit Hong Kong as there is a unique mix of experiences available for visitors from sampling Hong Kong's world class cuisine to enjoying the spectacle and excitement of the Hong Kong International Races and of course, those fantastic winter shopping sales just in time for Christmas. The cooler months are also ideal for exploring Hong Kong's green side with guided hikes and walks offered during Great Outdoors Hong Kong", says Andrew Clark, Hong Kong Tourism Board's Regional Director.

To conclude the winter celebrations Hong Kong will welcome in the New Year with a spectacular pyrotechnics display over Victoria Harbour on December 31.
